Sundays can be such wonderful days! Chilling, reading, sleeping, cuddling, re-organizing, getting inspired and let’s not forget cooking and eating something delicious!
That is exactly how our Sunday has been today, we cleaned and re-organized our home, we watched a bit of TV, we are having my sister and husband and kids over for dinner tonight to plan the company’s summer and I had a little time to browse on Pinterest which is one of my favourite things to do!
Here are some inspirational images and the link to our Pinterest album is here:
I am loving flats at the moment and I simply must find some wonderful ones for this summer. Maxi skirts are also so great and we are planning on making a couple of them for the Volcano summer collection.. to be seen a bit later..
Painted or inked stones.. that is a wonderful idea for summer gifts.. or even think ahead and collect some stones this summer and be ages ahead of planning the next Christmas gifts, so sweet as book aids or coffee table décor, or to hold down napkins for those outside luncheons.
I once tried my friends avocado and tuna salad and insisted on the recipe, since then it has grown a bit in my kitchen but here goes if you are interested :)
Mix all together:
1 can of tuna
2 hard boiled eggs
Half a red onion, chopped finely
1 small can of cottage cheese
1 large ripe avocado, mashed with a fork
1 pickled cucumber about 10cm
A tsp of Dijon mustard
Salt and black pepper
A nice addition would be to add some crushed walnuts.
Mix and enjoy with a freshly sliced coarse bread.
Create your own happiness!
