MARSALA PANTONE 18-1438
Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability. Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth.

Marsala was chosen as the colour of the year by Pantone: www.pantone.com
Their description of this beautiful colour:
Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness. This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.
And we agree! As they point out it is equally appealing to men and women, great for accessories and it encourages colour creativity.
It flatters many skin tones and it is great for lips, nails and hair!
Pantone also suggests ways to pair Marsala with other colours:
Whether in a flat or textured material, or with a matte or gloss finish, this highly varietal shade combines dramatically with neutrals, including warmer taupes and grays. Because of its burnished undertones, sultry Marsala is highly compatible with amber, umber and golden yellows, greens in both turquoise and teal, and blues in the more vibrant range.
We absolutely love the colour and think it will be huge this year. We have also started creating several pieces for the store in the colour tone, what do you think?!
